"The evidence for a relationship between periodontal disease and systemic conditions such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes and even some cancers is becoming more concrete every day. It is our mission as periodontists to help our patients obtain optimal oral health, which leads to better overall health." - Matthew T. Waite, DDS, MS
